The Role of the Vice Principal

As Vice Principal, you will support the school's strategic vision and operational success. This includes:

Overseeing data management to monitor and improve student performance. Leading the school's pastoral care programme to ensure the well-being of all students. Supporting and mentoring staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning. Collaborating with the Principal to implement school policies, procedures, and initiatives. Overseeing staff development, including training, performance management, and professional growth initiatives. Working closely with parents and the wider school community to foster strong partnerships and engagement. Monitoring and evaluating curriculum implementation to ensure high standards of teaching and learning. Leading and managing school-wide initiatives that promote student achievement and well-being. Ensuring the school maintains its high standards in alignment with ADEK requirements and school improvement plans. Being responsible for the overall operations of the school, ensuring efficient day-to-day management and resource allocation. Leading on safeguarding, ensuring the safety and welfare of all students, and maintaining compliance with child protection regulations. Assisting the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) with additional duties and responsibilities as required.

We are seeking a leader who can demonstrate:

A proven track record of impactful leadership in a school setting. A strong understanding of data analysis to drive school improvement. A passion for pastoral care and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive school culture. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff, students, and parents. Confidence in using technology to enhance leadership and administration. A commitment to the ethos and values of Al Rabeeh School, including respect for cultural diversity. Strong operational and organisational skills to ensure the effective running of the school. A deep understanding of safeguarding policies and practices, ensuring the highest standards of child protection.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered, you must have:

A degree and a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS or equivalent) and at least 8 years in education leadership, with 3 years of teaching experience. Demonstrated experience with UK education standards and frameworks. The ability to effectively lead within a diverse and multicultural school community.
