Work with the Principal to raise the quality of teaching and learning and students\' achievement; setting high expectations and monitoring and evaluating effectiveness of learning outcomes. A highly effective leader who can model best practice if necessary.
Provide regular feedback for colleagues in a way which recognizes good practice and supports their progress against professional and performance management objectives resulting in a tangible impact on students learning.
Develop whole staff, phase teams and individuals to enhance performance.
Contributing the writing of SEF and SIP.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in the curriculum and disseminate effectively to other members of staff. Join Network groups.
Plan, delegate and evaluate work carried out by team(s) and individuals.
Create, maintain, and enhance effective relationships.
Recruit and select teaching and support staff.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Education or 1st degree + PGCE is essential (as per ADEK criteria).
A Master\'s degree, or NPQML or NPQSL, or international equivalent, qualification is desirable but not essential.
Minimum Experience:
As per ADEK, a minimum of 6 years of teaching experience, with a minimum of 3 years\' experience in a leadership role.
Line/Performance Management or leading a curriculum project/team and proven experience in improving instruction experience is required.
Experience of leading whole school initiatives that have led to improvement in standards and achievement.
Knowledge of US curriculum (AERO) is desirable, but not essential.
