Role Overview: This role is focused on creating and delivering innovative products and solutions for the firm's clients. The individual will be responsible for leading the development of fundraising initiatives, constructing mandates, and working closely with Client Solutions Specialists to ensure seamless delivery of tailored solutions. The role also requires building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Solution Development:
Lead the development of innovative solutions and services tailored to meet client demands and market trends within private markets asset management. Design and implement complex investment products, including co-mingled funds and Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements. Utilize advanced financial modeling and analytical techniques to develop bespoke investment solutions. Implement strategies to enhance client relationships, drive business growth, and ensure alignment with industry best practices. Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies, leveraging market insights and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth. Client Engagement:
Support the Client Specialists in an effort to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding their unique requirements. Engage with clients to gather detailed insights into their needs and preferences, ensuring solutions are tailored to meet their specific demands. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including senior management, investment teams, and operations, to ensure seamless client service delivery. Work with the investment strategy and portfolio construction teams to develop and refine investment mandates and pitches. Market Analysis:
Work closely with the Investment Research team to prepare relevant investment strategy sections of investor collateral material. Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to anticipate client needs and identify growth opportunities. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to inform product development and strategic decision-making. Prepare Reporting:
Present regular reports to senior management on client engagement and fundraising activities. Develop detailed performance reports and analytics to track the success of fundraising initiatives and client solutions. Team Leadership and Development:
Mentor and support the Client Solutions team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities. Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred. Minimum of 12 years of extensive experience in client-facing roles within the asset management industry, with a focus on private markets. Strong understanding of private markets asset management, investment products, and client servicing best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing client engagement strategies. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams. Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Demonstrated ability to navigate complex business environments and drive change initiatives. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and challenges. Advanced skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and investment product development. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
