This role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.What we do:GPS (EMEA) guides clients through software implementation/integration lifecycle, GPS acts as a trusted advisor ensuring that BNY Mellon clients benefit from their investments in our technology and can leverage industry best practice in their daily operations.What you will do:The Performance Implementation Consultant role supports clients with solutioning, workflow design, configuration, testing and knowledge transfer for Eagle Performance & Data Management systems across the entire implementation process. Documentation of client requirements, full solution design & deliverables, along with data analysis & evaluation are key responsibilities. Involvement in scoping and estimation of Projects is required, as is working closely with GPS leadership, Relationship Management and Sales teams to maximize revenue and market penetration.In this role, youxe2x80x99ll make an impact in the following ways:
Demonstrate the companyxe2x80x99s processes and best practices for the adoption and utilization of BNYxe2x80x99s Performance and other software solutions
Execute on assigned activities in all implementation stages (analysis, configuration, quality assurance, data take, knowledge transfer and support of UAT, parallel runs, go-live, etc.
Manage internal and client functional and performance testing (plan, triage, communicate with tech and non-tech teams, resolve test issues)
Use mandated tools such as Confluence and Jira, working with Project Managers to accurately record risks & issues, actions, status, estimated v actual time for tasks
Act as a trusted advisor to the client at every stage
Proactively collaborate with internal & client stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption of investment performance products
Scope & estimate new implementation projects.
Coach junior team members and contribute to investment performance practice development
Deliver high quality documentation such as solutions designs, requirements, run-books, playbooks, and training materials
To be successful in this role you will need:
Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree level or equivalent with experience in a Financial Institution, Consulting Firm or Fin Tech organization ideally as a Product Specialist or Business Analyst with Implementation experience
Experience as an investment performance consultant in a consulting or professional services environment
Knowledge in the area of Investment Performance (methods, calculation, analytics & reporting), management/accounting/performance in the financial services industry is a plus
Willingness to travel within the Middle East and wider EMEA to clients for periods to support implementations.
Be a collaborator with ability to operate independently where required, with a strong client focus
Good understanding of Investment Performance methodologies (i.e., TWRR, IRR, Attribution etc.)
Extensive experience with implementing at least one investment performance measurement vendor product e.g. StatPro, FactSet, Blackrock, Enfusion etc.
Detailed understanding of investment performance data and exposure to external vendor integrations e.g., Bloomberg, Charles River, Investran, Burgiss etc.
Good understanding of ABOR and IBOR workflows and associated data attributes
Strong communication and presentation/workshop skills
Good understanding of GIPS reporting standards and blended benchmarks
Preferred:
Extensive experience in a professional services and/or consulting environment
Exposure to Private Equity/ Private Assets from a performance measurement standpoint
Detailed knowledge of Eagle Performance and firsthand implementation/configuration experience of Eagle PACE
Good understanding of Data Management from an Eagle performance perspective (e.g. PACE tables)
Experience of SDLC methodologies e.g. Waterfall & Agile
CIPM or CFA qualified is advantageous
Strong communication skills
Written & or spoken Arabic is advantageous
