The role does not only offer the chance to make a significant impact on our operations in Iran but also serves as a stepping stone to a promising international career within Novo Nordisk.The positionIn this role, you will be responsible for the overall performance of a modern site, which employs 130 people and uses state-of-the-art technology to produce life-changing medicines for patients. You will ensure the achievement of business objectives, compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintenance of a strong safety and quality culture. You will be part of Local Manufacturing management, a team of senior leaders responsible for all local manufacturing operations in Novo Nordisk within diabetes care. You will have the following key responsibilities:Manage site operations, including production, quality, supply chain, and engineering.Ensure deliveries of agreed volume and product mix - in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.Foster a strong safety culture, ensuring the safety of employees, contractors, and visitors to the site.Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring site processes are optimized and meet stakeholder expectations.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the local Novo Nordisk sales affiliate, local authorities, and external business partners.Collaborate with - and learn from - other Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites.Qualifications:To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:10+ years of production and project experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial position.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.Experience leading cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement, and managing budgets and resources.Strong change management experience, a lean leadership toolbox and experience with strategy deploymentProven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.International experience.Working at Novo NordiskNovo Nordisk is a leading global healthcare company with a 100-year legacy of driving change to defeat serious chronic diseases.
