The VP Corporate Accounting position oversees the timely and accurate preparation of TASC's consolidated financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. The position is responsible for supporting TASC's decision-making process through management reports summarizing information from monthly cash flows and budget vs. forecast variance analyses. Additionally, the Corporate Accounting position is responsible for analyzing and ensuring all the financial reports from corporate and operating market offices comply with local regulations and international accounting standards.
Essential Job Functions
• Ensure the timely and accurate closing of accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to prepare financial statements for TASC on a stand-alone and a consolidated basis
• Ensure all accounting reports adhere to statutory requirements
• Maintain and enforce accounting internal controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures in line with local regulations and international accounting standards
• Analyze finances, determine risks, and understand the Company's business objectives when coordinating and consolidating TASC's corporate and operating market annual budgets
• Reconcile financial discrepancies, assess the Company's monthly cash flow, evaluate tenant lease agreements, analyze payroll reports, and analyze budget vs. forecast variances to prepare monthly financial reports that assist the senior management to make informed business decisions
• Provide commentary on financial performance and advise Management on how to develop effective business plans and resolve cost-related issues
• Handle inquiries, ad hoc analyses, and special report requests from the Senior Management and other finance managers
• Work closely with accounting colleagues in the relevant TASC Opcos, providing support and monitoring their respective performances
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure clean, accurate, and timely year-end audits
• Draft and review responses for financial statement queries from the Audit Committee
• Review offering circular or prospectus related to fund-raising corporate actions
• Supervise the preparation of presentations to Company investors and corporate banks
• Guide and supervise the accounting team on the handling of routine and non-routine financial reporting
• Perform all other relevant duties as assigned by the SVP, Finance
• Flexibility to handle different accounting treatments for more than 6 entities handling all related workings from A to Z

Professional Experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of financial reporting experience
• Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience
• Chartered Accountancy required; at least five (5) years of work post-graduation
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in group reporting
• Minimum of two (2) years handling financial audits
Other Requirements
• Fluency (oral and written) in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Oracle) or other financial systems (e.g., IBM Cognos Controller)
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices
• In-depth experience in consolidated reporting, risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
