: Veterinary Doctor (Night Shift)

Location: Dubai

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Doctor (Preferably Male) to join our veterinary hospital's night shift team. This position is critical in providing continuous care and emergency services to animals during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical abilities, the ability to handle urgent cases, and a commitment to delivering high-quality veterinary care around the clock.

Responsibilities:

• Emergency Care: Provide immediate medical attention and treatment to animals brought in during the night shift.
• Critical Care: Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including those recovering from surgeries or trauma.
• Diagnostic Skills: Conduct thorough examinations, interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, blood work, etc.), and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
• Surgical Assistance: Assist with emergency surgeries and procedures as needed.
• Client Communication: Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their animal's condition, treatment options, and prognosis.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of treatments provided.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Emergency Protocols: Follow established emergency protocols and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• State veterinary licensure and eligibility to practice veterinary medicine.
• Proven experience in emergency and critical care settings preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and make sound decisions independently.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and veterinary practice management software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
