Veterinary Clinic Cleaner

Position Overview:

We are seeking a

Cleaner

to join our team onsite in Al Ain. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of professional cleaning experience, be conversational in both Arabic and English, and hold a

valid UAE driver's license

to assist with pet pick-up and drop-off services. Experience working in a veterinary or animal care setting is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning & Sanitation:

Responsible for

all basic cleaning

in and around the clinic, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.

Clean floors and rooms

, including sweeping, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, and picking up larger objects from the floor.

Sanitize and maintain restrooms

, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning fixtures, mirrors, and partition doors, and mopping tile floors.

Empty trash bins

throughout the clinic and replace liners as needed.

Clean glass surfaces and windows

, ensuring they remain free from smudges and stains.

Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies

, ensuring they are readily available.

Monitor and maintain sanitation

and organization of all assigned areas. Assist other departments when needed to ensure

optimum service and cleanliness

throughout the clinic.

2. Pet Transport Services:

Safely transport pets

to and from the clinic for appointments, grooming, and boarding. Ensure all animals are

secure and comfortable

during transport. Follow

proper handling and safety protocols

while transporting pets. Maintain

cleanliness and hygiene

in the transport vehicle, ensuring it is always prepared for safe pet travel.

3. Support & Customer Service:

Assist veterinary staff in maintaining a

calm, organized, and clean

environment for animals. Communicate

politely and professionally

with pet owners during pick-ups and drop-offs. Ensure all

transport records are accurately maintained

and updated. Perform

additional duties

as needed to support the clinic's operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

A valid UAE driver's license is mandatory

for pet transport duties. At least

2-4 years

of cleaning experience preferred, but we are open to dedicated individuals who are willing to learn. Comfortable working

around animals

and handling pets of all sizes. Conversational fluency in

Arabic and English

is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Good communication and time management skills. Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual.
