Job Description
Veterinarian with EXPERIENCE in Animal Practice (added experience with farm animals) Vet required for Animal Shelter (Non-Profit) for dogs/cats/donkeys/rabbits/birds Responsibilities
- Vaccinations
- General health checks
- Test/Treat against diseases (parvo/distemper/ hepatitis/ lepto)
- Treat and dress wounds
- Examine and diagnose animals
- Prescribe medication
- Neuter and Spay surgery (Soft tissue surgery is a must)
- Administering medications to animals
- Overall care and health management for the animals in the shelter and rescues.
- Writing policies and protocols for vet assistants, kennel attendants, cleaners and volunteers
- Providing training and advice to shelter caretakers
- Ensure proper cleaning and handling of equipment and medications including vaccinations
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Veterinary Medicine with 7 years experience in soft tissue surgery.
- Experience letter
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Fujairah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
