Tile Mason
Job Description
Multi skills masonry work that involves laying building materials including concrete and brick.
Tile fixing, Ceramic tiling, and painting.
Building, altering and maintaining walls, floors, and other related structures or surfaces.
Working based on blueprints, plans, or drawings.
Determines work requirements and sequence of masonry tile assignments through review of drawings.
Preparing surfaces prior the beginning of work.
Cutting bricks, stones, or blocks to their appropriate size.
Mixing cement, aggregate, sand, mortar, plaster and additives.
Set the forms that hold concrete in place.
Installation and fixing of Gypsum Boards, False Ceiling.
Laying blocks or bricks following laying out work using chalk lines, plumb bobs, tapes, squares, and levels.
Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using a trowel, float, or screed.
Apply sealants or waterproofing to protect concrete.
Plastering of walls and ceilings.
Installing and altering gypsum board and false ceiling.
Fixing and leveling tiles.
