The Vendor Management Manager plays a crucial role in managing the organizations relationships with IT vendors and service providers. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire vendor lifecycle, from selection and onboarding to performance evaluation, contract management, and renewal. The manager ensures that vendors deliver high-quality services aligned with the organizations strategic objectives, while also adhering to contractual obligations and performance standards.ROLE PROFILE
  • Vendor Relationship Management :Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and service providers.Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendor-related issues, communications, and negotiations.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the negotiation, creation, and execution of vendor contracts, including terms and conditions, pricing, and SLAs. Monitor contract renewals, extensions, and terminations to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Performance and Risk Management: Monitor vendor performance metrics, including quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost-effectiveness. Identify and address performance issues, risks, and non-compliance promptly.
  • Cost Management and Optimization: Analyze vendor spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize vendor costs. Work with the finance team to manage vendor-related budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Process Improvement and Strategy Development: Develop and refine vendor management processes, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with Ieadership to align vendor management strategies with the organization
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, procurement, legal, finance) to ensure alignment on vendor management policies and practices.
  • Digital Transformation:Align vendor strategies with digital initiatives for scalability and innovation.
  • Procurement Processes: Familiarity with procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and tools to effectively manage the vendor selection and onboarding processes.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 5 years of experience and vendor management and IT financial control .
  • Bachelors degree in information technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams across different industries and cultures and locations.
  • Familiarity with vendor management tools and software.
  • Solid understanding of IT services, infrastructure, software, cloud services, and market trends.
