Position: Vendor Management Manager - 12-month contract Salary: AED 32,000 to 35,800 Location: DubaiOur client, an MNC professional service organization, is looking to recruit a Vendor Management Manager (Legal & Compliance) on a fixed term contract of 12 months. The role involves leading vendor management and overseeing operational tasks within the ME Finance Team.Responsibilities include overseeing vendor relationships, implementing compliance policies, evaluating performance across client industries, and supporting audits and contracting processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication with stakeholders at all levels, and the ability to manage multiple projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and stakeholder experience.Overall, the role combines legal compliance, strategic procurement, and operational excellence in a dynamic, service-oriented environment.Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Independently leading the vendor management function and a small team
Support the team with day-to-day operational tasks where additional support is required
Driving projects and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, aimed at enhancing process efficiency, and the stakeholder experience
Implementing new policies and procedures aimed at achieving compliance with local and global guidelines
Responsible for evaluating and escalating higher risk vendor categories and the work that they will providing to the client
Evaluating performance across client industries and the client's service offerings
Working with key finance stakeholders as well as senior stakeholders to gather and document business
requirements
Evaluating potential supplier risks when engaging with contractors
Overseeing and reviewing risk assessments for vendors, highlight associated risks and recommend mitigation steps to Finance Director
Writing up policies, reviewing contracts and pricing in alignment with global processes and procedures Providing support during audits and assisting the Tax and Compliance Director in reporting back to Global
Explaining legal and contracting terminology in supplier contracts to business owners and stakeholders Understanding the different types of supplier agreements and subcontracting processes, and advising
stakeholders on the correct contracting process
Reviewing and negotiating contractual agreements prior to escalating to Legal Team Drafting/reviewing contractual documents based on contracting templates (i.e. Independent Contractors Agreements, Statement of Works, Amendment Agreements)

You bring (Experience & Qualifications)
Legal and compliance background as well as relevant experience
Sound analytical and reporting skills combined with excellent communication skills; written and oral Proven ability to work effectively in a global environment with people at all levels, preferably in a professional services organization
Advanced computer literacy
Experience with and exposure to data analytics, contract writing, risk assessment and business intelligence tools; writing queries, building reports, and diagnosing issues
Experience in procurement procedures
