We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct tax research and stay updated on current tax laws and regulations.
Assist in tax planning and consulting for clients.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates.
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns.
Identify potential tax issues and develop solutions.
Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
