1. JOB PURPOSE
To help the organization in fulfilling the sales and distribution objectives by managing the portfolio of products by ensuring sales and distribution targets are achieved and other market related activities are implemented.
2. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Diploma or equivalent
English language - Read, write and speak- moderate level
Additional language - advantage
Knowledge / Ability to use handheld applications used in sales and invoicing
2-3 years prior FMCG experience in similar role in UAE
UAE Driving license-must
3. COMMUNICATION AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Internal -Communication linkages to Sales management team, logistics and accounts
External- In store communication with shelf boys, store/site managers
Reporting relationship to Channel Manager
4. KEY DIMENSIONS AND RELATED JOB RESULTS
Achievement of sales, return and distribution targets
Journey plans adherence (Route compliance)
Route plans development with Channel Manager to ensure efficient coverage
MSL implementation
POSM implementation
Implementing brand specific primary / secondary visibility activities
Market information feedback - own / competitor activities
Own initiatives in developing the business for the assigned customers
Ageing/ near expiry stocks - propose and implement effective stock rotation to minimize liquidation losses
Implement and provide feedback on all tactical activities undertaken in the outlets
5. OPERATING ENVIRONMENT
Willingness to take on additional responsibilities on need basis
Ability to load/ unload stocks and be outdoors for extended period of time
Regular visits to the customer locations within the assigned territory as per journey plan
