Job Description

The Van Salesman is responsible for driving sales and distribution of FMCG food products within a designated territory. This role includes direct delivery to retailers, collection of payments, and ensuring product availability. The Van Salesman also identifies growth opportunities, manages stock, and maintains strong customer relationships to achieve sales objectives and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Sales & Revenue Generation :

Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the assigned territory.

Promote FMCG food products to retailers and small wholesalers to maximize sales.

• Order Management & Delivery :

Take orders from customers and ensure accurate and timely deliveries.

Manage delivery schedules and ensure route efficiency.

Ensure all products are delivered in good condition and per company standards.

• Customer Relationship Management :

Build and sustain positive relationships with existing customers.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly.

• Stock & Inventory Control :

Ensure adequate stock levels in the van for daily operations.

Monitor product freshness and expiry dates, ensuring proper rotation of stock (FIFO).

Conduct daily stock reconciliation to avoid discrepancies.

• Payment Collection & Record Keeping :

Collect payments from customers as per the company policy (cash, checks, digital methods).

Maintain accurate records of invoices, collections, and sales transactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
