Job description / Role The Sales Coordinator facilitates the administrative support for the sales and management process of existing and new business development. He/She has the authority to negotiate rates and conditions with service suppliers and agents on line with the demand for required services. To prepare quotations to direct customers and agents to sell the company To administer all quotations and services in the company To negotiate rates and conditions of suppliers in co-ordination with the Commercial Supervisor. To maintain statistics of offers and performance of customers and carers/suppliers. To comply with norms laid down in document, General To directly get in touch with customers to discuss offers, projects, and business development possibilities. Be open and willing to attend customer visits in Dubai either with or without the sales supervisor to maintain the customer relationship. Negotiate with our agents and shipping lines for local charges and ocean freight costs. Requirements Background in shipping / logistics is preferred Open and positive approach and character Good communication skills (face to face and via the phone) Good interpersonal communication / negotiation skills (technical and commercial competent) Sales / commercial background would be nice Proactive approach Accurateness and attention to detail is required Working under pressure and sticking to deadlines Bachelor degree (or equal qualification) Proficient computer skills in MS office Business oriented, and a proactive team player with strong leadership to achieve results Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
