Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate

Butcher

to join our team for an exciting new opening in Dubai. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional butchery skills, strong product knowledge, and the confidence to engage with customers. You will be responsible for delivering the highest quality cuts, maintaining strict hygiene standards, and enhancing the guest experience through your expertise and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities

Expertly prepare, cut, trim, and portion a variety of meats, including beef, lamb, poultry, and specialty cuts. Ensure proper storage, handling, and display of meat products to maintain quality and freshness. Provide expert recommendations to customers, offering insights on different cuts, cooking methods, and flavor pairings. Engage confidently with customers, delivering exceptional service and enhancing their overall experience. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination and supply of high-quality meats. Adhere to strict hygiene, safety, and food handling regulations as per Dubai Municipality guidelines. Monitor inventory, place orders, and minimize waste through proper portioning and storage techniques. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained workstation and equipment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a skilled butcher in a high-end restaurant, butcher shop, or retail environment. English speaker Strong knowledge of different meat cuts, aging processes, and butchery techniques. Excellent knife skills and understanding of portion control. Ability to communicate clearly and confidently in English; additional languages are a plus. Energetic, customer-friendly, and passionate about food and hospitality. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organisation. Must be legally eligible to work in Dubai or willing to relocate.
