Upholstery Master

We are a furniture manufacturing company based in Dubai looking for an Upholstery Master with experience in designing, repairing, and upholstering furniture. The candidate should be able to stitch all types of sofa fabrics and bed headboard fabrics, select materials, create patterns, and use advanced techniques to craft elegant and durable pieces.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, repair, and upholster a wide range of furniture, including sofas, chairs, headboards, and custom pieces.

Measure and cut fabrics and materials accurately, ensuring minimal wastage and a seamless finish.

Apply advanced upholstery techniques such as tufting, piping, and pattern matching.

Restore antique furniture while maintaining its original integrity and aesthetics.

Supervise and mentor a team of junior upholsterers, providing guidance and quality checks.

Collaborate with clients and designers to deliver customized furniture solutions.

Maintain and operate upholstery tools and equipment efficiently, ensuring their safety and longevity.

Manage projects within deadlines while adhering to high-quality standards.

Job Requirements

Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in upholstery and furniture manufacturing.

• Proficiency in upholstery techniques, including cutting, sewing, tufting, and trimming.
• Expertise in handling a variety of materials such as leather, fabric, and foam.
• Knowledge of furniture restoration and repair.
• Familiarity with upholstery tools and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
