Job Description

Riayana homes furniture llc, based in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team. The Upholsterer will be responsible for upholstering furniture, creating and repairing soft furnishings, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in all upholstery work. Accommodation will be provided for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Upholster furniture pieces such as sofas, chairs, and headboards according to design specifications.
• Cut, sew, and attach fabric or leather materials to furniture frames using hand tools or sewing machines.
• Repair or replace damaged or worn upholstery on existing furniture.
• Create custom cushions, pillows, and other soft furnishings as required.
• Ensure all upholstery work meets quality standards and client expectations.
• Collaborate with designers and other team members to execute upholstery projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure proper care of tools and equipment.
• Keep accurate records of materials used and time spent on each project.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Upholsterer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques, materials, and tools.
• Proficiency in sewing and working with fabrics and leather.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to interpret design specifications and follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver furniture pieces.
• Valid work authorization in Dubai, UAE.
