We are recruiting an Assistant Underwriting for our client, based out of their Dubai office. The Property Underwriting Assistant supports the underwriting team by providing administrative and technical assistance throughout the underwriting process. The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and an understanding of insurance policies and procedures. The assistant will work closely with underwriters, brokers, and other internal teams to accurately process and manage property insurance applications and policies. Responsibilities

1. Administrative Support: Prepare and maintain underwriting files, including data entry and document management. Assist in processing new business submissions, renewals, and endorsements. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements. Review assigned renewal policies, gather and analyze information, such as property values, risk factors, and prior loss history. Assist underwriters in evaluating risks and determining coverage terms, limits, and pricing. 2. Communication and Coordination: Liaise with brokers and BDUMs to resolve questions and obtain necessary information. Ensure timely communication of policy status, changes, or approvals. 3. Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure all tasks comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Support the maintenance of accurate records for audits and quality assurance reviews. Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field (preferred). Previous experience (min 1 year) in Property or Engineering underwriting, or administrative roles within UAE. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with underwriting or insurance systems is an advantage.
