They are seeking a talented and experienced Umbraco Certified Developer to join their dynamic team. As an Umbraco Certified Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of Umbraco-based websites and applications. Leveraging your expertise in Umbraco CMS, you will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that meet our clients\' objectives. Whether it\'s public or private sector engagement, they make services accessible to everyone. The Role:
- Develop, customise, and maintain Umbraco-based websites and applications according to client specifications and project requirements.
- Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and project managers to translate design concepts into functional, responsive websites and applications.
- Implement best practices for Umbraco development, including creating custom document types, templates, and macros to optimise performance and usability.
- Integrate third-party systems and APIs seamlessly with Umbraco to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Perform quality assurance testing to ensure that websites and applications meet quality standards, browser compatibility, and responsiveness.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing Umbraco projects, addressing issues, and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in Umbraco CMS and web development to continuously enhance skills and capabilities.
- Contribute to the documentation and knowledge sharing within the team to promote best practices and streamline development processes.
- Umbraco Certified Developer certification is required.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining Umbraco-based websites and applications.
- Proficiency in .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
