PRIMARY PURPOSE

A UI/UX designer plays a crucial role in crafting and refining customers' experiences across the company's digital platforms, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty. Their expertise in coding and design is vital for conveying the brand's identity through intuitive interfaces, making this role integral to the success of PSI's online interactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and implement innovative solutions to enhance user experience.
• Execute visual design stages from concept to final hand-off for web development.
• Conceptualize original ideas focusing on simplicity and user friendliness.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, and user flows to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Analyze user interactions with products and services.
• Style visual elements including fonts, color schemes, and graphics.
• Develop user-centered designs aligning with business requirements and usability findings.
• Optimize conversions and lead metric analysis for optimization efforts.
• Conduct user research and evaluate feedback to inform design decisions.
• Establish and promote design guidelines and best practices.
• Conduct user research to understand behaviors, goals, and needs.
• Collect behavior data through interviews, surveys, and focus groups.
• Create user personas and scenarios to guide product development.
• Determine information architecture and design mood boards.
• Design low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes for testing.
• Test products with users to meet go-to-market requirements.
• Facilitate experience and journey meetings with stakeholders.
• Provide UX/UI flows, analysis, and recommendations.
• Ensure Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards within the role's responsibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

A. Educational Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in graphic design.
• UI/UX design certificate.
• Must possess a UI design portfolio.

B. Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in UI/UX within an organization or 2 years of freelance experience focused on UI/UX designs.

C. Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in user research, user experience, and flow.
• Experience in user interface design.
• Knowledge of responsive web design.
• Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping.
• Strong understanding of front-end development.
• Familiarity with users' journeys and human-computer interaction principles.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision.
• Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Awareness of the latest design trends and their relevance in a commercial context.
