Organization: One of the Leading Insurance Companies in the Region. Job Title: Supervisor - Business Development (Dubai) Job Role: The job holder is responsible for generating new business from all sales channels and meeting production targets by introducing the Company product range to existing and new customers. This role will also involve training Sales officers in the company's product range and an integral part of the role will be driving ongoing sales and identifying new opportunities for growth to deliver prescribed results in achieving KPIs and Sales Targets. All activities, plans and tasks must be carried out in consideration of overall Distribution Business Strategy. This position is based in Dubai and requires working with all the departments of the company. Policies and Procedures:

Assists Manager in updating policies and procedures to conform to international best practices and to ensure that all staff are aware of the context in which to carry out their day-to-day duties. Contributes in development and implementation of the Business Development department budgets in line with overall Services function's budgets and monitors financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon. Day to Day Operations:

Achieves individual sales targets and KPIs. Works closely with the Manager in the execution of Distribution strategy for the company insurance products and services. Maintains and expands the current client base as Relationship Manager. (Account Acquisition + Retention Strategy) Implements Cross Selling Strategy. Follows-up with different departments on outstanding matters especially for large clients. Liaises with the different government departments, SMEs and other business entities for business opportunities in this important sector. Seeks and contacts new companies and new projects. Completes sales related inputs into IBHAR Sales & Management Activity System. Follows-up with new and upcoming projects with different segments of the market through different media sources including I.T. facilities. Provides pro-actively market feedback and intelligence on changing requirements of clients with regards to products, price and positioning. Conducts joint sales calls with business associates to further strengthen relationships with clients. Executes commercial lines and personal lines business procurement campaign. Participates in different events to get industry insight, networking and lead generation. Reporting: Prepares and submits all relevant reports in compliance with set policies and standards. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of Bachelor Degree YEARS & NATURE OF EXPERIENCE Requires 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. Languages Full Professional Proficiency in English and Arabic language.
