Job Role
Responsible for managing various human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This role serves as a bridge between management and employees, ensuring that human resource policies align with the organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Recruitment and Staffing :
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs.
• Employee Onboarding :
• Facilitate new employee orientation programs.
• Ensure a smooth transition for new hires, including training and integration into the company culture.
• Performance Management :
• Support the performance appraisal process, including setting performance standards and objectives.
• Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans.
• Employee Relations :
• Address employee grievances and conflicts, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
• Foster a positive work environment and encourage employee engagement initiatives.
• Training and Development :
• Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
• Promote continuous learning and professional growth opportunities.
• Compensation and Benefits :
• Assist in the design and implementation of compensation and benefits packages.
• Conduct market research to ensure competitive salary structures.
• Compliance and Policy Management :
• Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations.
• Update and implement HR policies and procedures.
• HR Metrics and Reporting :
• Maintain HR metrics and analytics to assess workforce trends and performance.
• Prepare reports for management regarding HR-related issues.
• Organizational Development :
• Support initiatives aimed at improving organizational culture and effectiveness.
• Facilitate change management processes during organizational transformations.
• Health and Safety :
• Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement workplace safety programs.
Skills and Qualifications
• Educational Background : A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or HR certifications (like SHRM-CP, PHR) are often preferred.
• Experience : Previous experience in HR roles, preferably in similar industries.
• Interpersonal Skills : Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Technical Skills : Familiarity with HR software and systems (like ATS, HRIS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
