How you'll help us make health happen:


The Head of Commercial Distribution & Client Management is a senior leadership role based in Dubai. You will deliver the UAE strategic growth and retention plan to achieve a profitable and sustainable UAE portfolio to complement the global Bupa portfolio.


Key duties:

• Set the overall strategic plan to deliver on pricing and retention key performance metrics in the UAE
• Devise, lead and drive the new business distribution strategy
• Drive the commercial change agenda
• Partner with Pricing & Underwriting teams to optimise proposals
• Competitor reviews to drive competitive advantage
• Improve procedures for quotes, sale and underwriting
• Lead and support on UAE partner relations activities
• Develop sales culture aligned to Bupa's values
• Lead and motivate team

Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role:

• Senior commercial leader with global health insurance experience
• UAE / Middle-East market regulations knowledge and demonstrable awareness of current trends
• Business development process expertise; including pricing, risk, marketing, product development and legal
• Experience of successfully working with senior (c-level) executives and a track record of achieving KPIs in international markets
• Strong track record of leveraging local client and broker relationships
• Excellent analysis, problem-solving and negotiation skills
