Truck Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and a dedication to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heavy goods vehicles. As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy-duty trucks and vehicles, including lorries, trailers, and articulated trucks.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an HGV mechanic or similar role, preferably in a commercial or fleet maintenance environment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of HGV components, including brakes, suspension systems, and transmissions.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment, such as computerized diagnostic software, multimeters, and pressure gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Welding and fabrication skills are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
