Our client is one of the government councils in Abu Dhabi, that is looking into hiring a Treasury Specialist (UAE National) to join their team.
This person will be in charge of all of the council\'s treasury duties, such as handling cash, planning for liquidity, managing risks, and making payments to banks. The Treasury Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability and growth of the council.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills:
4-7 years of previous relevant experience preferred.
Experience in accounting, financial management & treasury.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated working knowledge of related industry practices and standards.
Proven work experience as a Treasury Specialist or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of treasury operations, cash management, risk management, and investment principles.
Proficiency in using treasury management systems and financial software.
Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
