OverviewSupports the Treasury Head in managing the Groups treasury activities, currency risk, interest rate & cash optimization, as well as maintaining strong relationships with the Groups banks and controlling all of their requirements.Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
Efficient banking relationships
Assist the TD in managing bank relationships in coordination with Market and Corporate Finance.
Compliance & reporting
Monitor key financial ratios (e.g. interest cover, debt/EBIDTA, related party balances) and ensure compliance with bank covenants across all the markets.
Responsible for KYC processes for the Holding companies and to assists KYC processes in the markets.
Minimize interest cost
Assist in the preparation and review of interest rate forecasting, analysis, related sensitivities and scenario planning.
Accurate and timely reporting
Responsible for regular Treasury reporting and Treasury management system admin management.
Maintain and update register for all bank/corporate guarantees and signatory mandates for the Group.
Favorable financing terms
Assess overdrafts and term loans limits with the bank to meet markets financing needs.
Minimize forex and interest rate exposure
Assess foreign currency and interest rate risk and evaluate hedging options to mitigate financial risks related to interest rates and currency devaluation.
Consistent cash flows
Maintain and update rolling cash flow forecasts across the Group in coordination with market Finance teams.
Funds and interest optimization
Review and assess the flow of funds across the group.
Governance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with Group Treasury policies and procedures.
Qualifications
BA in Business Administration or Finance, Economics
MBA or Professional designation (CA, CPA, ACCA) or CFA is a strong plus
2 to 5 years of relevant experience with a large company or a bank
