Job Description

A Dubai based family planning a trip to Switzerland and Austria are seeking a travel nanny for their children aged 9-years, 7-years, and 4-years-old. Their eldest child has autism and ADHD, so some knowledge in this area would be good. The family will be travelling to Zurich, Switzerland on February 9th, where they will stay for two nights, and then travel on to St. Anton, Austria on February 11th for a further seven nights. If the nanny is already in Dubai, they will travel with the family to Zurich, if not they will simply meet them there.

It is important that they are an experienced travel nanny and are used to packing and unpacking, as well as being able to organise fun, engaging, and educational activities to keep the children entertained when moving around. During the stay the nanny will be sharing a room with the children, there may be times when they wake in the night and may be unsettled in their new surroundings, so you will be required to settle them back to sleep.

Whilst away the main role for the nanny will be a 'night nanny', though there may also be times when they are happy to be on duty during the day too. The older two children will be in ski school for several hours during the day but the younger child may only attend a short while. It would be wonderful if during the trip, the candidate will support the children to be independent and explore their new surroundings.

The ideal candidate should have excellent English, is warm, educationally focused and demonstrates plenty of initiative. Please also be pro-active, flexible, creative, and committed. The role will be busy, you need to be passionate about children and excited about the opportunity to encourage their curiosity in the world around them.
