As a Travel Consultant, you must be highly organized, customer-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. You will consult clients on their travel needs and help them book their trips.Responsibilities:
Gather customer information and determine their travel requirements.
Provide accurate information on available travel options.
Book airline tickets, hotels, rental cars, and other travel services.
Make and recommend travel itineraries for customers.
Develop customized travel packages according to customers' budget and preferences.
Analyze and prioritize customer requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Keep track of special promotions, discounts, and offers.
Respond to customer inquiries about travel packages and services.
Process customer payments and issue receipts.
Keep updated records of customer purchases.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Travel or Tourism
Proven experience as Travel Consultant or similar role
Knowledge of travel systems (e.g. Amadeus)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office and computer literacy
Ability to work independently and travel frequently
Ability to think strategically and execute plans in a timely manner
Highly organized with exceptional multitasking abilities
Outstanding problem-solving and time-management skills
