As a Travel Consultant, you must be highly organized, customer-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. You will consult clients on their travel needs and help them book their trips.Responsibilities:
- Gather customer information and determine their travel requirements.
- Provide accurate information on available travel options.
- Book airline tickets, hotels, rental cars, and other travel services.
- Make and recommend travel itineraries for customers.
- Develop customized travel packages according to customers' budget and preferences.
- Analyze and prioritize customer requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Keep track of special promotions, discounts, and offers.
- Respond to customer inquiries about travel packages and services.
- Process customer payments and issue receipts.
- Keep updated records of customer purchases.
- Bachelor's degree in Travel or Tourism
- Proven experience as Travel Consultant or similar role
- Knowledge of travel systems (e.g. Amadeus)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and computer literacy
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently
- Ability to think strategically and execute plans in a timely manner
- Highly organized with exceptional multitasking abilities
- Outstanding problem-solving and time-management skills
