:Transportation Segment Leader responsible for leading and overseeing the sales efforts targeted towards end-user customers. Primary objective will be to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets for end-user customers.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the end-user market segment, expanding the customer base and driving customer acquisition.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product management, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and other relevant metrics to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and market trends to anticipate customer needs and stay ahead of the competition.
Involved in the direct sales process by managing new and existing accounts of regional, national, or strategic significance.
Grow profitable sales within the Power Systems accounts by securing order targets and maximizing direct (& indirect) revenue.
10+ years of experience in projects and systems sales.
Demonstrated history of successful sales, preferably in a leadership capacity, specifically within the transportation segment's end-user market.
Proven track record of being an effective individual contributor.
Relevant experience in the transportation industry and knowledge of the transportation market in the GCC region.
Strong understanding of sales strategies and techniques, with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Analytical mindset, with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive informed sales decisions.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
Flexibility to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
