Preparing Access and Circulation Studies, Transportation Impact Studies and Transportation Master Plans.
Preparing traffic survey data reports.
Using SYNCHRO, Sidra and HCS to assess intersection operation and develop improvement measures
Supporting the development and interrogation of strategic and micro-simulation transport models including VISUM and VISSIM
Undertaking checks and reviews to ensure others work is comprehensive and accurate and applies sound engineering principals and standards.
Developing strong communication and working relationships with colleagues, management, subcontractors, public agencies and clients which support collaborative work practices
Working to client requirements using CUBE & STEAM tool.
QualificationsTo be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Civil Engineering or equivalent and more than 5 years of experience in a similar position. Having a membership of a professional institution is desirable.Furthermore, you should demonstrate:
Proven experience as part of a multidisciplinary team providing transportation advice and solutions on large scale developments.
Experience with ITC in Abu Dhabi, RTA in Dubai, MoTC in Qatar and other GCC regional municipalities.
Proficiency in software such as CUBE/STEAM/VISUM/VISSIM, Synchro, Sidra, HCS, CAD, Auto-turn. Also Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
