As a Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for efficiently managing and coordinating the operations of our fleet of 30 vehicles. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of UAE experience in a similar role and possess strong communication, leadership and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of drivers and other personnel involved in fleet operations.
- Ensure that all trucks are properly maintained, serviced, and inspected according to company standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet efficiency and reduce operating costs.
- Monitor and track fleet performance, including fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance expenses.
- Oversee the scheduling of deliveries and pickups to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, maintenance logs, and driver schedules.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by drivers or other team members in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to coordinate fleet activities and support overall business objectives.
- 2-3 years of UAE experience in a Transport Supervisor role.
- Proven experience in managing a fleet of 30 vehicles or more.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of fleet management software and systems.
- Can manage drivers, vehicle maintenance, and proper tracking.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
