•Position: Transport Management System (TMS) Operator •
•Abu Dhabi, UAE •

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

TMS and SAP Operations:

• Manage transportation workflows using TMS software, including shipment planning, carrier selection, and route optimization.
• Utilize SAP logistics modules to process and manage transportation data, including purchase orders and delivery schedules.
• Ensure seamless integration and accuracy of data between TMS and SAP.

Shipment Coordination:

• Schedule, monitor, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to address shipment requirements and resolve issues.
• Maintain detailed records of shipment statuses and delivery timelines.

Data Management and Reporting:

• Generate, analyse, and distribute reports on transportation performance, costs, and efficiency using TMS and SAP.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as transit times, freight costs, and on-time delivery rates.
• Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all shipments, including invoices, delivery receipts, and freight records.
• Monitor and address exceptions or discrepancies in shipment documentation.

Process Optimization:

• Leverage TMS and SAP capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.
• Recommend improvements to transportation workflows, system configurations, and logistics processes.

Support and Troubleshooting:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to TMS or SAP system functionality.
• Collaborate with IT and logistics teams to implement system updates or enhancements.

•QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE •

Education:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in logistics or transportation operations.
• Hands-on experience with TMS software and SAP logistics modules.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS) for shipment planning and tracking. Advanced knowledge of SAP logistics modules such as MM (Materials Management) or SD (Sales and Distribution).
• Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, for reporting and analysis.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
