:Our client, a leading semi-government hospital, is seeking a skilled Transplant Coordinator to join their team and enhance their pediatric transplant services. In this role, your responsibilities would include but not limited to:
Manage the entire process of pediatric transplant cases, including patient assessment, donor matching, and scheduling of procedures. Ensure smooth coordination between various departments and teams involved in the transplant process.
Provide comprehensive support to pediatric patients and their families throughout the transplant process. Offer guidance on pre-transplant preparation, post-transplant care, and long-term follow-up.
Oversee and monitor patient progress, ensuring adherence to transplant protocols and clinical guidelines. Address and manage any complications or issues that arise during the transplant process.
Work closely with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and effective patient care. Facilitate regular team meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all transplant-related activities and patient interactions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and accreditation standards.
Educate staff and healthcare providers on best practices in pediatric transplantation. Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance team knowledge and skills.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits related to transplant services. Analyze data and contribute to strategies aimed at improving patient outcomes and departmental performance.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
Bachelors degree in Nursing, Medicine, or a related field (required); Masters degree or specialized certification in Transplant Coordination (preferred). Western European qualifications or education are highly desirable.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in pediatric transplantation, with a strong background in coordinating complex transplant cases. Experience or education from Western European healthcare systems is essential.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong clinical knowledge in pediatric transplantation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Current and valid professional license in relevant field, with eligibility for licensure in Dubai or the ability to obtain.
Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
Willing to be based in Dubai, UAE
