SynopsisThe Training Officer, under the Crew Training Compliance team at Etihad Airways, oversees operational regulatory aspects within Crew Training. This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance with both GCAA regulations and those of applicable international authorities. Reporting to the Manager Crew Training Compliance, the Training Officer ensures the meticulous management and updates of the Operations Manual Part D and other critical regulatory documentation. Additionally, the Training Officer is instrumental in the effective coordination and management of all related audits, including those conducted by the external authorities (e.g. GCAA, IOSA, etc.) and internal Quality Department.Accountabilities
Ensure all flight crew and cabin crew training is documented and completed in accordance with applicable GCAA regulations.
Provide assistance with compliance audits required for Etihad Crew Training by GCAA, IOSA & Internal, including follow-up actions post-audit.
Ensure that the Operations Manual Part D and Procedure Manual (Crew Training) is up-to-date and compliant with all relevant policies and procedures as stipulated in the GCAA regulations and ISARPs.
Monitor contracted service providers and suppliers to ensure that they meet regulatory and company standards within Crew Training.
Responsible for developing and maintaining automation projects that enhance regulatory compliance, ensuring that these streamline processes and uphold the highest standards of regulatory adherence.

Education & Experience
A bachelors degree in any discipline from a university or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an aviation operations or aviation training environment.
Comprehensive understanding of the company operations manuals and UAE GCAA regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Familiarity with Pilot and Cabin Crew training requirements is an advantage.
