AL ShawamekhJOB PURPOSE:Ensure HSE training compliance as per ADNOC code of Practice and relevant local authorities.Deliver HSE training and promote the ADNOC philosophy of "100% HSE". Influences UAE nationals in changing their risk perception to become reliable technicians in the field.Develops and review, in collaboration with the curriculum coordinator and HSE coordinator, the necessary internal and external HSE training as per ADNOC and site-specific requirements.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESJob Specific Accountabilities HSE Instructor
Develop, plan, review and deliver HSE training at the Academy and Sites when required.
Remain up to date with HSE requirements of local regulatory agencies (ADNOC, EAD, OSHAD)
Develop, with the HSE coordinator, innovative and hands-on training.
Ensure internal and external HSE training complies with ADNOC and site requirements.
Promote a positive HSE culture and provide necessary support in the promotion of HSE awareness campaigns.
Develops and administers testing for evaluating trainees.
Preparing Training need analysis, Training Matrix, implementation and Evaluation of Training.
Train and educate workers on the job- oriented safety requirements.
Understand the ADNOC and Oil, Gas and Petro Chemical industry needs in terms of HSE qualification and behavior for Operators and Technicians.
Generic Accountabilities Supervision
Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives
BudgetsProvide input for preparation of the HSE budget and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.Policies, Systems, Processes & ProceduresImplement approved HSE policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Section's / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards.Performance ManagementContribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Section / Department in line with the Company Performance framework.Innovation and Continuous ImprovementDesign and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.Identify improvements in internal processes in line with best industry standards.Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and SustainabilityComply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls, applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practice.ReportsProvide input to prepare MIS (Management Information System) and progress reports for Company Management.COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:InternalATA HSE Officer. Section Heads, and Team LeadersADNOC operating companies training centers, training entities and HSE governmental entities.ExternalInternational recognized accreditation bodies (NEBOSH, SQA, OPITO, TAFE, ECITB... )QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Minimum Qualification.
Bachelor's Degree or Technical equivalent in relevant subject area.
NEBOSH (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) qualification or equivalent
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
10 or more years of experience, including at least
7 years' experience as HSE professional in the O&G industry
3 years' experience as HSE trainer/coordinator in a training facility
Excellent communication skills in English. Arabic or Urdu language skills are an advantage.
