Education: Bachelors degree in civil engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field
required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in traffic engineering or related roles, with expertise in traffic
analysis, signal design, and roadway design.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in traffic engineering software such as Synchro/ Sidra, HCS, and
AutoCAD.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret
traffic data and make data-driven recommendations.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey
technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Teamwork: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.Responsibilities:
Traffic Analysis: Conduct traffic studies and analysis to assess traffic flow, congestion, safety,
and efficiency within transportation networks.
Traffic Signal Design: Design and optimize traffic signal timing plans and phasing sequences
to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion at intersections.
Roadway Design: Assist in the design of roadway geometrics, including lane configurations,
signage, pavement markings, and traffic calming measures.
Traffic Impact Assessment: Assess the impact of proposed developments on traffic
operations and safety and recommend mitigation measures as needed.
Traffic Simulation: Utilize traffic simulation software to model and evaluate the performance
of transportation systems under various scenarios.
Traffic Safety: Identify hazardous road conditions and recommend safety improvements,
such as signage upgrades, road markings, and traffic calming measures.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, standards, and
guidelines in all traffic engineering projects.
Project Management: Manage traffic engineering projects from inception to completion,
