:JOB CONTENTTo perform assembly processes like fitting for manufacturing of tools and dies to achieve job specification requirements.FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESxc2xb7 To assist the Tool & Die Makers as instructed in assembling the Job.xc2xb7 Ensure availability of joining parts like clamps, braces, nuts, bolts, fasteners collar etc. at the assembly platform.xc2xb7 Ensure verification of dimensions, clearances and alignment of parts & components as specified in the Work Instructions/ SOP, using standard measurement gauges.xc2xb7 To perform fitting jobs like drilling, Band sawing, pneumatic grinding, rotary grinding, tapping, sand blasting etc. and assemble and test tools / dies and all associated parts and assemblies as per the production data sheet.xc2xb7 Fit and assemble parts to make, repair or modify tools / dies using machine tools.xc2xb7 File, shim, grind and polish flat and contoured surface of assembled tools using manual files, abrasive grinding surfaces, polishing tools & dies.xc2xb7 Ensure any extra material on the tools/dies is removed using cutting tools like hacksaws, power blades, cutting torches etc.xc2xb7 Seal any potential areas of leakage and seepage, which may damage the tool.xc2xb7 To ensure all parts and assemblies are correctly fitted and assembled in accordance with the agreed procedures and tolerances and have the same verified with the production supervisor.xc2xb7 Inspect, feel, and measure work pieces to ensure that surfaces and dimensions meet customers specifications as highlighted on the production data sheet.xc2xb7 Carry out testing of the tool and/or die units to check accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools or sub-assemblies.xc2xb7 Dismantle faulty tools / dies and assemblies and repair or replace defective parts.xc2xb7 Remove finished work pieces from machines & place them in boxes or on racks, setting aside pieces that are defective.xc2xb7 Perform basic maintenance & cleaning of assembly tools / dies & lifting tools / dies as per the instructions. Ensure that any type of impurities like grease, oil, dust, rust etc. should be removed from the assembly and fabrication tools / dies.xc2xb7 To ensure proper documentation of work done and in a manner well accessible every time.xc2xb7 Stay abreast with the market trends and maintain awareness of current design trends and influences. Research into materials and component technologies to scope development opportunities.xc2xb7 Observe good housekeeping practices and ensure the machine and its surroundings are kept neat & tidy.xc2xb7 Follow companys HSE guidelines in respect of all operations undertaken.xc2xb7 Ensure compliance to Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Environment requirements as specified in the global QHSE Management System with strict adherence to ISO and local regulatory authority.xc2xb7 Ensure that all records and documents are up to date and have full traceability, retrieval at all times, and that all processes, procedures & activities comply with ISO and management procedures.xc2xb7 Perform any other job/task assigned by the Production Supervisor to accomplish department objectives.RequirementsEducation/ Qualificationsxc2xb7 ITI (Machinist / Fitter)Experiencexc2xb7 Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical assembling in a manufacturing setupFunctional Skills & Specific Knowledgexc2xb7 Knowledge of Mould maintenance and repair.xc2xb7 Hydraulic knowledge.xc2xb7 Knowledge on Machinability of different metals.xc2xb7 Knowledge of precision measuring instruments & gauges.xc2xb7 Knowledge of Quality systems and proceduresxc2xb7 Ability to read and interpret engineering drawing.
