Level/Grade: Assistant Manager
Location: JLT, Dubai
Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trade Specialist (Assistant Trader) specializing in Agricultural products to independently manage and execute profitable trades and sales for our group company. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in trade sales and marketing within the agribusiness industry, with a focus on developing extensive supplier and buyer networks.
Responsibilities:
• Trade Execution: Independently execute profitable trades and sales of agri products while adhering to company guidelines and market trends.
• Market Development: Develop and maintain a large portfolio of suppliers and buyers for agri products, fostering strong relationships to facilitate ongoing business transactions.
• Market Intelligence: Possess and apply in-depth market knowledge of agri products, including trends, pricing, and competitor activities, to inform trading strategies.
• Risk Management: Demonstrate a solid understanding of counterparty default risk and implement strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
• Sales and Negotiation: Negotiate terms of trade agreements with suppliers and buyers, ensuring favorable terms while maximizing profitability.
• Business Development: Actively participate in trade fairs, conferences, and industry events to expand networks, promote company visibility, and identify new business opportunities.
• Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel internationally at least once every two months to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct market research.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout all trading activities.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Finance, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in trade sales and marketing within the agri business industry, with a proven track record of successful trade execution.
Skills:
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated approach to business development.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and trade-specific software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED27,000.00 per month
