Job Summary:
The Trade Payable & Payroll Executive is responsible for managing the organization's trade payables process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and overseeing the payroll function to ensure employees are compensated correctly and on time. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Payable:
Process and verify supplier invoices in accordance with purchase orders and contracts.
Ensure accurate checking and approval of invoices before payment.
Maintain vendor records and handle queries or disputes.
Schedule and process payments via bank transfers, cheques, or other methods.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Support month-end closing activities by preparing AP reports and accruals.
Payroll:
Collect, verify, and process employee timesheets and payroll inputs.
Calculate salaries, deductions, addition, and benefits accurately.
Ensure compliance with UAE labour law.
Generate payslips and process salary disbursements on time.
Handle employee queries regarding payroll, additions, or deductions.
Maintain payroll records and assist with audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
2-4 years of relevant experience in accounts payable and payroll processing.
Knowledge of online banking and HR Works software is a added advantage
Familiarity with local payroll laws and statutory compliance.
