Overview The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving the Segafredo brand handling needs to have strong visibility and market penetration for the company's range of coffee products. This position encompasses the strategic planning and execution of trade marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing relationships with retailers and consumers alike. The Trade Marketing specialist will work closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to create impactful programs that resonate with target audiences and support the overall business objectives. With a focus on balancing brand equity with sales performance, this position plays a critical role in developing and implementing category management strategies, promotional campaigns, and effective point-of-sale solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of creativity and analytical skills, ensuring that trade initiatives not only meet short-term sales goals but also build long-lasting brand loyalty. This position is essential in navigating the competitive landscape of the coffee industry, driving performance through strategic trade marketing initiatives and fostering collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute trade marketing strategies aligned with business goals. Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and threats. Create innovative promotional campaigns to enhance product visibility. Collaborate with the sales team to support national and regional initiatives. Manage and optimize budget allocation for trade marketing activities. Build and maintain relationships with key retailers and distributors. Design impactful point-of-sale materials and displays. Track and analyze sales data to measure marketing effectiveness. Conduct training sessions for sales teams on product features and benefits. Provide regular reports on trade marketing performance and ROI. Work with product development to ensure alignment of new products with market needs. Implement category management strategies to maximize shelf space. Participate in industry trade shows and events to promote brand visibility. Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategies. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade marketing or brand management./Retail/wholesalers/ Modern trade etc. Proven track record of successful trade marketing initiatives. Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in the food and beverage industry preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in MS Office Suite and marketing analytical tools. Strong project management skills with attention to detail. Experience managing budgets and forecasting expenditures. Ability to adapt and innovate in response to market changes. Willingness to travel as required for market visits and events. Knowledge of category management principles. Strong negotiation skills for dealing with retailers and distributors. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to succeed.
