Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Tower Crane: Maneuver the tower crane to lift, move, and place loads such as materials, machinery, or construction equipment.

Ensure proper positioning and stability of the crane during operations.

• Inspect Crane and Equipment: Conduct pre-operation inspections of the tower crane to ensure safety and functionality.

Report any mechanical or safety issues to the site manager or maintenance team.

• Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents.

Ensure the crane is used within safe working load limits.
Maintain clear communication with ground crew through hand signals, radios, or other means.

• Collaborate with Site Crew: Work closely with riggers and signal persons to ensure proper load handling.

Ensure loads are securely fastened and moved without causing harm to people, property, or structures.

• Maintain Crane Operations Log: Keep detailed records of crane operations, maintenance checks, and any incidents or malfunctions.
• Assist with Site Logistics: Plan crane operations in advance to ensure efficiency in material placement.

Work with site supervisors to adjust the crane's location and setup as the construction project progresses.

• Ensure Proper Crane Shutdown: Safely park and secure the tower crane at the end of each shift.

Follow procedures for crane disassembly and relocation, if required.
Desired Candidate Profile

• Valid Tower Crane Operator certification or license.
• Previous experience as a Tower Crane Operator on large construction sites.
• Knowledge of tower crane operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Ability to interpret load charts, blueprints, and site plans.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with site teams.
• Physical fitness to handle long hours and the physical demands of operating a crane.

Pay: AED2,200.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
