Work content of tower crane driver:

Pre-operation preparation

1. Check whether the mechanical parts, electrical system, safety devices, etc. of the tower crane are normal, such as brakes, limiters, wire ropes, etc., to ensure that there are no faults and hidden dangers.

2. Understand the layout, lifting tasks and requirements of the construction site, be familiar with the lifting route and working environment, and communicate and coordinate signals and operating requirements with the commander.

Tower crane operation

1. According to the signal of the commander, accurately operate the lifting, amplitude change, rotation and other mechanisms of the tower crane to lift the construction raw materials such as steel bars, wooden slats, scaffolding pipes, etc. to the designated location.

2. Control the running speed and movement range of the tower crane to ensure that the lifting process is smooth and accurate to avoid collision with buildings, other equipment or personnel.

3. Strictly abide by the "Ten No-Lifting" principle, that is, do not lift when the command signal is unclear, the weight is unknown, the light is dim, the loose objects are not tied firmly, there are people on the lifting objects, buried objects, inclined objects, mechanical safety devices fail, heavy objects are over people's heads, and flammable and explosive objects are lifted.

Equipment Maintenance

1. Carry out daily inspection and maintenance work, such as cleaning the fuselage, adding lubricating oil, tightening bolts, etc., to keep the tower crane in good operating condition.

2. Timely discover and report equipment failures and damages, cooperate with maintenance personnel to carry out maintenance, and be familiar with the maintenance and performance of the tower crane.

Safety Management and Records

1. Comply with the safety technical regulations and operating procedures of lifting machinery, wear and use personal protective equipment correctly, and ensure personal safety and work safety.

2. For tower cranes operating in two shifts, carefully fill in the handover record and clearly inform the successor of hidden dangers and failures in operation.

3. Accurately record the use, maintenance, failure and handling of the tower crane to provide a basis for equipment management and maintenance.
