Innovating in the energy industry, surface pressure control capabilities are industry leading.Partner with the bestAs Tooling Technician, you will be required to improve on time of Product Delivery and sustaining projects to an acceptable level, as well as Performing production machining operations specified by the Manufacturing Order PackageAs a Tooling Technician, you will be responsible for:
Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
Need to maintain the inventory of tools and fixture.
Need to maintain the in/out log accurately.
Ensure that all gauges and fixtures are fit for use.
Need to ensure that all gauges are meeting as per the calibration procedure.
Good mechanical aptitude, including developing skills in use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
Follows the competency management program requirements and works under GENERAL supervision.
Initiate the replacement for damaged tools/fixtures.
Maintain the tooling stock based on the shop demand.
Monitor the consumptions and usage with the given budget.
Fuel your passion!To be successful in this role you will:
Have 2 to 3 years of experience in Tool crib or Gauge room.
Have Secondary Education / ITE / Diploma / in science in Metal Machining.
Able to interpret and explain to machinists about Engineering drawing, VGS procedures, and MO when necessary.
Able to identify the different gauges, fixtures and inserts.
Have good interpersonal skills, computer skills and must be a team player.
Able to read and understand English.
