We are recruiting a TMS (Terminal Management System) Officer who is responsible for effective POS software support and general POS hardware/software maintenance and support. Must be able to define, maintain, and program POS databases. As well as ensuring the POS terminals ready for deployment have completed the Quality Assurance certification in all respects and provide the best-in-class service. The responsibilities will include:
• Provides superior service to the company's' merchants in all countries, including Bahrain and UAE.
• Responsible for inventory management.
• Responsible for TMS management and key injection.
• Ensures tickets are worked on in a timely manner and in accordance with the TMS & Field Support Procedure Manual.
• Executes actions as directed by the POS Team Leader or Head of Operations.
• Logs, tracks, and follows up to closure all items raised by clients/internally and ensures communications of status is done on a timely basis.
• Conduct application testing for POS terminals in UAT, Pre-Production, and Production environments, highlighting issues based on test results.
• Execute TMS release testing to ensure system integrity.
• Perform quarterly disaster recovery drills and test transaction flow across all POS models and TMS.
• Manage onboarding new and additional terminal requests in TMS on a daily basis.
• Conduct bulk upload testing in TMS for various merchants to ensure system performance.
• Update critical parameters in TMS in accordance with amendments and risk approvals.
Education/Certifications:
• A university degree preferably in IT, CIS or related subjects.
Experience:
• 1-5-year experience in technical support experience and/or database development.
• Experience in Merchant Acquiring.
• Experience working with credit card terminals, POS equipment, registers, touch screens, and scanners is a plus. Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Basic understanding of/ eagerness to learn card processing, merchant acquiring and Fintech products, services, processes and related risks and controls.
• Proficient in relevant computer applications.
• Experience in tech support or help desk role.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
