: Timekeeper with HR Knowledge (Construction Site)
Overview:
A Timekeeper with HR knowledge in a construction site is responsible for accurately tracking and managing employee work hours, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and providing HR support to the construction team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Timekeeping:
• Accurately record employee start and end times daily.
• Calculate and process weekly payroll, ensuring accurate wage payments.
• Monitor overtime hours and ensure compliance with labor laws.
• Maintain detailed timekeeping records for audits and reporting purposes.
• HR Support:
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Manage employee leave requests (vacation, sick leave, etc.).
• Handle employee inquiries and concerns related to HR policies and procedures.
• Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs.
• Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
• Conduct regular audits of timekeeping records to identify and address any discrepancies.
• Data Analysis:
• Prepare reports on labor costs, overtime usage, and other relevant metrics.
• Analyze timekeeping data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Technology Utilization:
• Proficiently use timekeeping software and HR management systems.
• Implement and maintain electronic timekeeping solutions.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
