. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately tracking and recording employee work hours, managing time-off requests, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies. The role requires someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience with time management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of employee work hours, overtime, and time-off using time management software.
Process and validate employee timesheets and time-off requests, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely wage calculations.
Monitor and report on employee attendance, tardiness, and absenteeism.
Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of time and attendance systems.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding time and attendance policies, resolving any issues or discrepancies.
Prepare and distribute various time-related reports for management, offering insights on trends and anomalies.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies concerning working hours, overtime, and time off.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in timekeeping records efficiently.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance timekeeping operations and increase efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
2-4 years of experience in timekeeping, payroll, or a related administrative role.
Proficiency in time management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and perform precise calculations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Basic math skills and the ability to perform accurate calculations.
Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to timekeeping.
Familiarity with payroll processes and their relationship to timekeeping functions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and timekeeping records.
Certification in timekeeping or payroll is a plus.
Familiarity with UAE labor laws and regulations is preferred.
