Job Description
Surface Preparation:Looking for a workers who installs tiles on walls and other surface in residential and commercial spaces. The candidate must be proficient in tile cutting, grouting, leveling and waterproofing to ensure precise.
The daily duties and responsibilities include :
• Tile Installation: Installing various types of tiles such as ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, or mosaic tiles on floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces according to blueprints.
• Surface Preparation: Preparing surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing them to ensure proper adhesion of tiles. This may involve removing old tiles, debris, or adhesive, and repairing any imperfections in the surface.
• Tile Cutting and Shaping: Using tools such as tile cutters, saws, and grinders to accurately cut and shape tiles to fit around obstacles, corners, and edges.
• Grouting and Sealing: Applying grout between tiles to fill gaps and ensure a uniform appearance. Sealing tiles and grout to protect them from moisture, stains and damage.
• Quality Control: Inspecting completed tile installations to ensure they meet quality standards, including proper alignment, spacing, and levelness.
