Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tile Mason to join our construction team. The Tile Mason will be responsible for installing tiles on various surfaces, including floors, walls, ceilings, and countertops. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of tile types, patterns, and installation techniques to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into odd spaces using tile cutters and saws.
• Prepare surfaces for tiling by removing old tiles, grout, adhesives, and sealants.
• Mix and apply mortar or adhesive using a trowel before laying tiles.
• Align tiles and ensure they are properly spaced and leveled using tools such as spirit levels and plumb lines.
• Install tiles in a variety of patterns and designs according to specifications.
• Finish and grout tiles to create a smooth and even surface.
• Seal tiles and grout joints to protect against moisture and staining.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in tile installation.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:-

• Proven experience as a Tile Mason or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in measuring and cutting tiles to precise specifications.
• Familiarity with various tile types, patterns, and installation techniques.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Certification or training in tile installation is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,400.00 - AED1,600.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Tile Mason: 2 years (Preferred)
